How to quit fast fashion
① Build a timeless wardrobe instead of a trendy one
Fast fashion thrives on trends and our longing to always want to wear the ‘newest thing’. Building a wardrobe of timeless, comfortable pieces that fit you right, and practicing gratitude for what you do have will help prevent you from making an impulse purchase at a fast fashion store. Building a timeless wardrobe takes time so don’t feel pressured to do this all at once.

② Unfollow and unsubscribe
Unfollow any brand or influencer that promotes fast fashion so that you don’t feel pressured to buy it every time you open your phone - and while you’re at it, unsubscribe from those pesky fast fashion email subscriptions, too.
✦
③ Follow people who encourage you to slow down →
Who you follow on social media makes a big difference. Follow these slow fashion influencers and accounts to keep you inspired.
