Climate
I love to meet people where they’re at and discuss climate topics in fun and creative ways. For too long, the media’s coverage of the climate crisis has been minimal and one-dimensional. I try to educate and inspire my community to approach the climate crisis from an intersectional, hopeful point of view.

Slow fashion
Fashion is one of my favorite ways to approach sustainability. Getting dressed is something we do every day, and clothing is such a beautiful method of self expression. My work is all about rejecting the ugly sides of fashion (fast fashion, overconsumption, textile waste, ecosystem degradation, and labor exploitation) while showing that you can express yourself beautifully without supporting all of those things.

Low(er)-waste lifestyle
Unless you have the privilege of having excess time and money, living a zero-waste lifestyle is almost impossible in today’s economic system. Instead, I encourage people that it’s okay to have an imperfect, low(er) waste lifestyle. Through supporting low-waste ethical brands, buying less, supporting BIPOC-led sustainability initiatives, and advocating for policies that put the recycling responsibility on companies instead of consumers, we can all strive to be have an imperfect low-waste lifestyle.
